Adolphustown is a geographic area located in Greater Napanee, Ontario, Canada, on the Adolphus Reach of the Bay of Quinte in Lake Ontario. Adolphustown is now part of the town of Greater Napanee. The rural character of the Adolphustown region remains largely undisturbed today and the area, with its picturesque lakefront location, remains popular for the cultivation of apples and strawberries.

Waupoos is a community in Prince Edward County, Ontario, Canada. Situated on Smith Bay on Lake Ontario, Waupoos is in the centre of the county's cider and wine industry. Located about 13 km from Picton, it is set among apple orchards, wineries, local farms and forested hills. During and after the American Revolution, Waupoos served as a point of resettlement for American United Empire Loyalists. Prior to European settlement, Waupoos was inhabited by Tyendinaga Mohawks, who created a burial ground on Waupoos Island. The Conrad David house, a historically designated property on which Sir John A. MacDonald once held the mortgage, now houses the County Cider Company. The Waupoos Estate Winery also makes its home in the hamlet of Waupoos.

Again this summer, History Lives Here will be hosting walking tours of historic downtown Picton.

Let experienced guides take you on a 90-minute journey into the past along the side streets of the town. Hear the stories of the days when this small community was the epicentre of Confederation, a titan of trade dominating the Canadian canning industry, and a bustling shipping port.

Tours are held Friday, Saturday and Sunday mornings starting June 28th, 2019 through the summer/fall tourism season.

Tours begin at 10 AM. Tickets are $25/per person including tax. There is a family rate of $60 including tax for two adults and two children under 15.
