Frozen Waterfalls of Korouoma - Finland in Winter
Korouoma Canyon is a geological fracture valley. It is 10 km long and, in places, several hundred meters wide. At the center of the valley, it forms a magnificent gorge that drops over a 100 meters below its surrounding terrain.
In winter, several steep streams freeze forming huge ace formations. Some can be climbed and Korouoma is known to be the best climbing destination in Finland.

Torisevan rotkojärviksi kutsutaan Ylä-Pirkanmaan matkailualueella sijaitsevaa kolmea rotkojärveä, joiden nimet ovat Alainen-Toriseva, Keskinen-Toriseva ja Yläinen-Toriseva. Ne sijaitsevat Virtain Jäähdyspohjassa hieman kantatie 66:n itäpuolella.
Syvin järvistä on Keskinen-Toriseva, jonka syvyys on 38 metriä ja keskisyvyys 20 metriä. Suurin järvistä on Alainen-Toriseva, joka on kuitenkin vain 50 m – 70 m leveä, mutta 1 120 m pitkä. Yläinen-Toriseva on 600 metrin pituinen. Järvien rantakalliot ovat suurelta osin hyvin jyrkkiä.
Alaisella-Torisevalla taidemaalari Werner Holmberg teki teoksensa Aihe Torisevalta 1859. Se kuvaa järven eteläpäässä olevaa Inkerinkalliota. Koska Holmberg ohjattiin alueelle, oli jo 1800-luvulla käsitys siitä, että järvi voisi olla matkailukohde.[1]
Ruoveden Ritoniemen kartanossa kesän 1825 viettäneen Johan Ludvig Runebergin uskotaan viitanneen nimenomaan Torisevanjärviin Vänrikki Stoolin tarinoissa.
Alueella kulkee Torisevan luontopolku.
Alaisen-Torisevan eteläpään läheisyydessä on kesäteatteri, jossa on esitetty muun muassa karhunkaataja Martti Kitusesta kertovia näytelmiä.
Torisevan rotkojärviksi called the Upper Tampere tourist area located three gorge lakes, whose names are underground-Toriseva, Central-Toriseva and Yläinen-Toriseva. They are located in Virtain Jäähdyspohja little road 66 to the east.
The deepest lakes Central-Toriseva, with a depth of 38 meters and an average depth of 20 meters. Most lakes are underground-Toriseva, which is, however, only 50 m - 70 m wide, but 1 120 m long. Yläinen-Toriseva is 600 meters in length. Lakes, cliffs are largely very steep.
Underground-toriseva painter Werner Holmberg did work Subject toriseva 1859. It describes the lake at the south end of the Ingrian the Rock. As Holmberg ushered in the area, was already in the 1800s the idea that the lake could be a tourist attraction. [1]
Ruoveden Ritoniemi mansion spent the summer of 1825, Johan Ludvig Runeberg is believed to have referred specifically to Torisevanjärviin Tales of Ensign Stål.
The area runs Torisevan nature.
Under-Torisevan the southern end of the vicinity of the open-air theater, which shows, among other things, bear hunter Martti Kitunen narrative plays.
