4 Paws Kingdom Campground and Dog Retreat
4 Paws Kingdom Campground and Dog Retreat
The first and only dog dedicated campground in the United states. There is no restriction on breeds at 4 Paws Kingdom, all dogs are welcome.
When you arrive you will be greeted by a very friendly staff and if you forgot something have no fear they have a large camp store with plenty of supplies for you and your furry friend.
We were guided to our site Jazz #14 which was plenty large enough for our 28ft RV and car, some of their pull through sites are 110ft making it big rig friendly. Our site had 30/50 amp full hookups, picnic table, fire pit and something we have never seen before. A private yard for our dog Belle. We were able to open the door to our RV and have her go inside her own yard to play or relax. The campground is surprisingly quiet and peaceful and we think this is due to the fact that everyone must be 18yrs and older.
There are 8 dog parks on property, We will start with the Main dog park which was probably Belles favorite. It has a lot of space with plenty of shade for the summer days as well as a seating area for the humans to relax while the pups go explore the grounds.
The Pond park is enormous with lots of space to roam, I think Belle thought we just let her go wild, I don’t think she even noticed she was fenced in here. Belle does not like water, but she did like making friends and trying to her best to stay dry.
Next we have the ball park, this was great for Belle since she really likes to chase and catch, but does not always want to bring a ball back. Here I had plenty to just keep tossing them out there and then I was able to just pick them all back up when we left.
The agility Park is a great place for the pups to show off their skill, with obstacles to jump over, weave through and stay balanced.
Don’t be fooled by the name of this park the small dog park is actually quite spacious and has plenty of shade for us to sit back and relax while watching Belle go crazy over squirrels.
This is a first for us we have never seen a tiny dog park section, but leave it to 4 paws Kingdom to have one.
The Lure park is a big hit, they tie a bag to cable system and they are able to make it run around the park at different speeds and even change its direction.
The last park is a private park that allows you have one on one time with your pup, but if you are ok with having company you can just turn the sign over to say join us.
If you have friends that would be interested in visiting the park, but they have no RV that is no problem. The campground has these cool yurts for rent that have private yards and are very cozy and even though they do not have a bathroom in them, the campground bathhouses are very nice, extremely clean and very private.
If you are looking for something more apartment like then check out the cabins. They also come with a private yard, deck, grill and are very comfortable inside and also have a bathroom included.
There is a clean laundry room on the property as well as a dog bathing room, this room is climate controlled and offers two styles of bath tubs one for tall dogs and one for the little ones.
The have scheduled social events like Pizza parties and birthday parties in their outdoor food hall and they have a social fire pit for people to gather and meet.
