It is a small group of islands east of Patmos and north of Leipsoi with sparse, bushy vegetation. Arkoi village is on the largest island. Old stone houses, some whitewashed, some newly built and traditional tavernas make up the picture.Go for swimming in beaches where lentisks and tamarisks grow, such as Limnari, Kapsaliasmenos, Tiganakia, Patelia and Ampelaki. You will also enjoy this type of beach at a smalli isle called Marathi.
A Long Weekend On Kalymnos And Sponges - Greece Vacation
We went from one island to another, aka island hopping! One of our friends was celebrating her 40th birthday on Kalymnos, so we decided to celebrate with her and flew from Crete to this beautiful little island right off Kos. In this video I captured some beautiful Island moments. We will be writing about our long weekend there soon, which also includes an article of a death hike we did and yes we did survive it. In this video you will also see some sponges being trimmed, which is a big industry on this island.

Psili Amos Beach is a challenging adventure to get to on the south-west side of the island of Patmos. By foot on the dusty well-trotted donkey path, it is a 20-30 minute walk, however after a tumble down to a picturesque private cove... I decided it was more prudent to explore around the golden rocky shore. A stunning secluded shoreline and ground zero to where the neighborhood mountain goats live. Definitely a little dangerous, it was a dramatic and thrilling hike into the natural wonders of the island Patmos.
Production Note: even though I've never had a concern about channel popularity... keep in mind that if the YouTube page had more subscribers these camera and electronic companies would offer a lesser repair bill. Your assistance in spreading the word about THE VLOG is appreciated.
