Born in 1989, Yixiao and Peng Dele are both freelancers living and working in Beijing. In 2016, the couple rented an abandoned yard of 600 m2 in Shunyi District 50 km away from downtown and renovated it into a dream house. They live a simple life there, farming, painting and basking in the sunshine.
