Belliveau's Cove is an Acadian community in the Canadian province of Nova Scotia, located in the District of Clare in Digby County. A major centre of wooden shipbuilding in the 19th and early 20th century, Belliveaus Cove built the second largest wooden ship ever constructed in Canada, County of Yarmouth in 1884. Fort Anne is a four-star fort built to protect the harbour of Annapolis Royal, Nova Scotia. The fort repelled all French attacks during the early stages of King George's War. Now designated a National Historic Site of Canada, it is managed by Parks Canada. The 1797 officer's quarters was renovated in the 1930s and now house the museum with exhibits about the fort's history and historic artifacts from the area. A 1⁄2-kilometre trail runs along the fort's earthen walls, and provides a view of the Annapolis River and basin.

Bay of Fundy Tide, Time-lapse, Fundy National Park

Time-lapse video of the Bay of Fundy tide at Point Wolfe, Fundy National Park, New Brunswick, Canada. This vantage point on the Shiphaven Trail is THE most spectacular location in Fundy National Park to see the full range of the tide. You would have to sit here for 6 hours and 10 minutes to experience this, but every minute would be worth it.

You really have to experience the Fundy tide for yourself to fully grasp the magnitude of it. This is just one inlet, but imagine every river, inlet, and cove, not to mention the entire Bay of Fundy filling up with an additional 12 metres of water in 6 hours. It's mind boggling. In fact, I can't imagine why you're not here right now to check it out for yourself.

This was shot as continuous video and then sped up 25,000% to compress it into one minute. Shooting it as video, as opposed to still images, gives greater options at the time of production but it sure takes a lot of disk space. The original video was shot July 10, 2009 but I just remade it into this format for YouTube. The soundtrack was made using SonicFire Pro 5.

Trip to see Église Sainte-Marie, Church Point, Nova Scotia. A very tall wooden church structure built in 1903. Start of video shows old cn rail tracks. Outside of digby heading for french shore. Cool day trip there is another big church on the way built around the same time of stone about 10 mins away. Ihad more video but my camera had an error so i only had two pictures of the church will get more next time in area.
