Bokodi Floating Village - A Bokodi Lebegő Falu / Gólyalábon álló csoda
This Hungarian stilt village is built in a lake that never freezes over due to the power plant that that uses it as a cooling pond. Rows of vintage cabins, complete with cozy porches, have been built on stilted platforms in Lake Bokodi and are connected to the land and each other by a series of boardwalks. Despite being fairly off the beaten track, the area got worldwide exposure in 2014, when Bing used a picture of it as wallpaper for one of its search pages.
