Wild Atlantic Way in Ireland - travel to Sligo, Donegal & Inishowen (Travel Video)
The Wild Atlantic Way in Ireland is the best opportunity for a roundtrip at the west coast of the Island. I went on a 4 day roadtrip to the counties of Sligo, Donegal including the peninsula Inishowen to experience the northwest.

I have been lucky to use the chance exploring Irelands coastline, waterfalls, nature, culture and some cool activities like Stand Up Paddleboarding or swimming with Dolphins. I tried to capture my experience in the best way possible by taking timelapse footage and using wide panorama shots in this travel video montage.
I hope you enjoy this Travel Video from Ireland and it gives you a little glimpse what traveling in the Northwest is like and what to do and see on a trip to Ireland - and yes, the Guinness Beer is a very important part, too! ;)

Wild Atlantic Way Road Trip Vlog Series - Malin Head Ireland's most Northern Point
Wild Atlantic Way Road Trip Vlog to Malin Head Ireland's most Northern Point
In this vlog episode we continue our Ireland road trip south along the Wild Atlantic Way (WAW). We leave Stroove Beach and head north. We visit the beautiful Culdaff Beach on the way.
As the Wild Atlantic Way road trip / tour continues, we make it to Malin Head - County Donegal - which is the most northerly point in Ireland.
Absolutely stunning coastline and views and we were lucky that the rain cleared so we were able to go for a nice long walk.
If you're heading to Ireland and planning a road trip you must visit County Donegal - it is truly a beautiful county. We are loving our Wild Atlantic Way Ireland Road Trip / tour
The Wild Atlantic Way is one of the longest designated coastal road trips in the world at over 2,500 km long. Our road trip of the Wild Atlantic Way started at the most Northern Point of Ireland - Malin Head and finished all the way at the bottom in the town of Kinsale.
The Wild Atlantic way is a road trip of a lifetime and that’s why we just had to do it and produce a Ireland travel series of vlogs of our experiences along this magical road. We saw beautiful and dramatic cliffs, stunning beaches, the best sunsets, met lots of lovely people, sung at a shanty festival and saw Ireland at it’s best. If you come to Ireland you must visit the Wild Atlantic Way - even if you can’t do the complete road trip just go and do part of it - absolutely awesome and what a road trip to start off our never ending journey around the Globe.
We hope you enjoy this episode of our Wild Atlantic Way Road Trip Vlog Series.

Ireland Road Trip 2016
We drove around Ireland for two weeks this summer and saw some stuff, did some things. Starring Grandma, Mom, Lily, Callie, and me.
Doagh Famine Village, County Donegal
Doagh Famine Village is an outdoor museum that tells the story of life in the area from the Famine back in the 1840s, through the 1900s to the present day.
Different to any other tourist attraction in Ireland, the Famine Village depicts life in Ireland as it was, uncommercialised, interdenominational interspersed with humorous anecdotes of Irish life.
The Famine Village has a wide array of actual size attractions including original dwellings which were still inhabited little more than 20 years ago. Amongst the attractions that are shown and described by your affable host, local man Pat Doherty, are: -
- An Irish Wake
- Rural life, food and cures told in a humorous way
- Orange Hall
- Presbyterian Meeting House
- Mass Rock and Hedge School
- The Republican Safe House
- The Travelling Community
