The backwaters of Thrissur are as beautiful as the one in Alappuzha. However, even seasoned travellers give the backwaters in Thrissur a miss. The reason is that few people know that biggest mangrove forest is at Chettuva in the district.
Chettuva Backwater is located in between Engandiyur Panchayat and Kadappuram Panchayat of Thrissur District in Kerala. The backwaters start at Enamakkal Lake and empties to Arabian Sea. The destination is blessed with mangroves, Chinese fishing nets, islands, migratory birds, estuary and a fort. The mangroves at Chettuva backwaters are famous around the world. In 2010, Government of Kerala has declared Chettuva as heritage village.

Jaipur is the capital and largest city of the Indian state of Rajasthan. Jaipur has long been established on tourist itineraries as the third corner of India's Golden Triangle. At its heart, the original city, popularly known as the Pink City, stands enclosed by walls and imposing gateways. Designed for defence, they still physically demarcate it from the sprawling modern suburbs around, while the vibrant bazaars within are renowned for hand-dyed and embroidered textiles and jewellery. The city's population is around 3.1 million.
