Located at 46th kilometer of highway 12 (Lom Sak – Chum Phae), “Phu Kho View Point” is well-known as one of the best view point in Thailand. It is in in the in Nam Nao National Park which covers 4 districts of Petchabun namely Lom Kao, Lom Sak and Nam Nao as well as Kon Sarn in Chaiyaphum. This national park is one of the most beautiful parks in Thailand especially the scenery from “Phu Kho View Point”. It is even more amazing in the winter as visitors can watch the sun rises in the magical sea of mist, surrounded by the green bed of Phu Kum Khao Pinery together with the forest. Phu Kradueng and Phu Phajit are the perfect background that completes this amazing natural beauty.
Nam Nao National Park provides 4 large camping areas for tourists as well as essential facilities. Embraced by forests and cool air of the night, it is so wonderful to camp out under the glittering sky full of starts. Then in the morning, getting up early to see the first light beaming through the sea of mist at Phu Kho View Point is a must! The spot is only 5 kilometers away from camping areas. Furthermore, the national park also developed a nature trail which is 4 kilometers long that ends at tourist service center.
There are a group of shops such as restaurant and camping equipment shop at service for those who didn’t bring their own stuffs along. Officers are ready to help at administrative building of the park. Visitors can get information about accommodation, view point and security service. Camping equipment can be rented here also.

Directions: Starting from Bangkok, drive on Phahonyothin road toward Lom Kao for 261 kilometers. Then at the interjection of Por Khun Pha Muang memorial, turn right to road number 12 which lead to Nam Nao National Park.
