Cusano Mutri is a comune in the Province of Benevento in the Italian region Campania, located about 60 km northeast of Naples and about 35 km northwest of Benevento. The municipality of Cusano Mutri contains the frazioni Civitella Licinio and Bocca della Selva. Cusano Mutri borders the following municipalities: Cerreto Sannita, Faicchio, Gioia Sannitica, Guardiaregia, Piedimonte Matese, Pietraroja, San Lorenzello, San Potito Sannitico.

MONTESARCHIO - I BORGHI PIU' BELLI D'ITALIA

Montesarchio è tra i borghi più belli d'Italia. Dominano sulla città il Monte Taburno e la Torre. A pochi metri troviamo il castello, oggi Museo archeologico nazionale del Sannio Caudino. All'interno del museo possiamo ammirare l'antico cratere di Assteas: è stato rinvenuto nei primi anni '70 del Novecento a Sant'Agata de' Goti da un operaio edile, lo portò a casa, fece alcuni autoscatti con una Polaroid a colori e infine lo vendette sul mercato nero per un milione di lire e un maialino.
