We stayed in Bagasbas Lighthouse Hotel and Resort which is along the current longest boulevard in the Philippines - the newly opened Cory Aquino Boulevard.
The hotel isn't connected to the beach, so you still have to cross the road. Beside the hotel are stores, inns, and other retail establishments that are easily accessible because of its walkable distance from the hotel.
Since it's my first time surfing, i don't know about the rates of other surfing places in the Philippines. But in Bagasbas, they offer a 1hr rent of surfboard + tutorial for P400. We were lucky enough to be instructed by Sir Bernie who is a Judge for the surfing competition that happend on the second day. (Wasn't able to record this part tho)
Aside from the beach in Bagasbas, we also went to Mampurog River in San Lorenzo. We paid a P50 parking fee and crossed the long bridge not knowing that there's a stair providing an easy access to the river without crossing the bridge. But for the sake of the experience, it's worth it.
Where to eat?
► Aurora's Cusine - try Bangus with butter (idk the name of the dish but it's like that)
► Mercedes Fish Port - at the side of the port, there's a 'karinderya' where you can grill your bought fish/seafood.
► Along Cory Aquino Boulevard - 'packed dinner + music + beer under the street lights and the bright moon' is a must do!!! we stayed there until 10pm!
We also went to St. John Parish upon arrival and to Daet Cathedral before heading home. Idk where we ate on our way home, I fell asleep so idk the place.
Bonus Activity!!!
BANTAYOG MUSIC FESTIVAL! This was one of the best things that happened in this trip. Our room has a view over the concert grounds beside the idle airport/runway in Bagasbas. We didn't know that Bantayog Festival is being celebrated in April 2 - May 6, 2019 or during this season. We were lucky to hear This Band and Parokya ni Edgar with a backstagepass-kuno.

Beaches in the Philippines | PULANG DAGA - near Calaguas
CALAGUAS VIDEO:
Pulang Daga (Red Land/Soil) is located in Paracale, Camarines Norte Philippines. I'm not sure but I think it's called Pulang Daga (red soil) because of the red soil found in it's surrounding area and the road going to the beach.
This place is also one of the jump-off points going to Calaguas Island. I'll be going to Calaguas next so subscribe to catch my next video.

Boracay of Bicol | Poro Beach, Camarines Sur Bicol
Hi Everyone,
I was so lucky to explore Bicol for a week and damn it keeps on surprising me!
We have discovered this beach called Poro Beach- it's 2 hrs away from Naga City but it was all worth the hefty travel.
We used a van to get there note that the road going there is bad there's a part there where there's a mountain of soil on the side of the road. There are also deep craters on the road.
You have to take a boat ride for 1/2 hour which will cost you P100 each. The cottages are P300 to rent. It's so cheap! But you have to note that there is only one washroom and it's not clean because there's a lot of goat poop on the floor! So come with your swim clothes and get ready to go home with the same clothes. Bring your own food too because there's no stores on the actual beach.
The water is so clean!!! be wary of pink jelly fish - we're not sure if they sting we didn't get stung, but just be wary of them.
