It was built in the 15th century, although the oldest parts date from the 13th century. It is the seat of the Diocese of Borgå, Finland's Swedish-speaking diocese . The cathedral is also used for services by the Porvoo Finnish-speaking parish, which is administratively part of the Diocese of Helsinki. Syyskuinen Loviisa tarjoaa seesteistä fiilistä. Kaupunki on kesän jäljiltä jo hieman hiljentynyt, mutta silti tunnelmaa täynnä.
Loviisa (ruots. Lovisa, vuoteen 1752 Degerby) on vuonna 1745 perustettu Suomen kaupunki Itäisellä Uudellamaalla. Loviisan väkiluku on 15 209 henkilöä ja sen pinta-ala on 1 751,52 km², josta 25,78 km² on sisävesiä ja 905,98 km² merialueita. Väestötiheys on 18,6 asukasta/km². Kaupunki on kaksikielinen, ja sen asukkaista 56 prosenttia puhuu suomea ja 43 prosenttia ruotsia.
Loviisan naapurikunnat ovat Kouvola, Lapinjärvi, Myrskylä, Porvoo ja Pyhtää. Kaupunki kuuluu Loviisan seutukuntaan. Pernaja, Liljendal ja Ruotsinpyhtää liitettiin Loviisaan vuoden 2010 alussa.[

Ok, after the most epic of days at Radio 1 big weekend, honestly i thought today seeing steps would be a bit of a anti climax but it turned out to equal or if not better then all the acts i saw at the greatest weekend - it was so gay, it was so cheesey, it was so 90s - it was so my youth and this made this night epic! To see Steps live was amazing but the warm up acts of Blue, Saara Aalto and power of muzik was also very welcolm to make a epic night complete.

32 skaters from multiple countries participated on the Street Glider's FinLine skating event in July 2017, skating the historical King's Road from Vaalimaa Border Crossing Point to the Old Great Square of Turku.
This time the skating event was celebrating the 100 years of independent Finland: almost all participants skated 100 kilometers (and much more) during the week, and therefore also completed the Finland 100 inline skating week's challenge.
Finland 100 inline skating week was part of the programme for the centenary of Finland’s independence in 2017.
