Always been one of my favorite places to go to, ever since I was a kid and my parents first took me there many moons ago. The water was pretty rough that day (09/10/2012) but I wasn't inclined to do any snorkeling anyway. Way too many sting rays in the water then.

Having spent the last 2 days in the South Western regions of Charlotte Harbor, Punta Gorda and Englewood -- this place takes my vote for the best!! Life is AMAZING here!! We've visited the greenest of national parks, went kayaking with dolphins through the red mangroves, hung out on the most stunning white sanded beaches, and seen alligators, panthers, birds and iguanas enjoying the perfect weather.
It's my first time in Florida since 2007, so it's great to be back with fresh eyes and new perspectives. All I know for sure is that the tropical natural beauty of this state is unparalleled to the rest of the country.
