Étampes is a commune in the metropolitan area of Paris, France. It is located 48.1 km south-southwest from the center of Paris . Étampes is a sub-prefecture of the Essonne department. Étampes, together with the neighboring communes of Morigny-Champigny and Brières-les-Scellés, form an urban area of 26,604 inhabitants . This urban area is a satellite city of Paris.

1. Fondation Claude Monet Giverny
The Fondation Claude Monet is a nonprofit organisation that runs and preserves the house and gardens of Claude Monet in Giverny, France. With a total of 530,000 visitors in 2010, it is the second most visited tourist site in Normandy after the Mont Saint-Michel. The House and Garden have been recognised as a Maison des Illustres and Jardin remarquable rewarding their outstanding qualities. The estate was classified as a Monument historique in 1976.

2. Chateau de Chambord Chambord
The Château de Chambord at Chambord, Loir-et-Cher, France, is one of the most recognisable châteaux in the world because of its very distinctive French Renaissance architecture which blends traditional French medieval forms with classical Renaissance structures. The building, which was never completed, was constructed by King Francis I of France. Chambord is the largest château in the Loire Valley; it was built to serve as a hunting lodge for Francis I, who maintained his royal residences at the Château de Blois and Amboise. The original design of the Château de Chambord is attributed, though with some doubt, to Domenico da Cortona; Leonardo da Vinci may also have been involved. The Eiffel Tower! Day 1 in Paris France

- In today's video we walked up 205 steps to get to our first location, Sacre -Coeur Basilica, which is a church.
- After that, we walked for a while until we crossed a train bridge with a red SNCF train going going under at that moment.
- once we pass the train bridge, we stopped to take a break at the parc Monceau to look at the map. If you come to Paris, you should definitly check out this park. The land was purchased by a wealthy cousin of King Louis XVI in 1769, and in 1778 he decided to make it a public park. this is just some history of this amazing Parc Monceau.
- After the Parc Monceau, we visited the Arc de Triomphe where we took some pictures from all angles of the amazing monument.
- To wrap up our day, we visited the Eiffel Tower.

-Tip: If you are planning on visiting Paris, make your trip close to a week or more to get more time. 3 days was not enough time to see this amazing city!
