The structure is owned by the municipality of Orange and is the home of the summer opera festival, the Chorégies d'Orange. It is one of the best preserved of all Roman theatres, and served the Roman colony of Arausio which was founded in 40 BC. ITALY Mount Etna & Cefalu (Sicily)
You must be very lucky to visit a cloudless Mount Etna (we were not...). But the lower slopes of the mountain have much to offer. You can walk through craters and watch old lava flows. In springtime there are many flowers. From Etna we drove to Cefalu through wild mountain scenery. Cefalu is a nice seaside place and it has a beautiful cathedral.
