I surprised my son with Monster Jam tickets at Gillette Stadium in Foxboro Massachusetts. Here is what happens when you go to Monster Jam.
Monster Jam is a live motorsport event tour and television show operated by Feld Entertainment.[1] The series is sanctioned under the umbrella of the United States Hot Rod Association (USHRA) and takes place primarily in the United States. Although individual event formats can vary greatly based on the intermission entertainment, the main attraction is always the racing and freestyle competitions by monster trucks.

At Monster Jam shows, monster trucks face off in two different forms of competition - Racing and Freestyle. In the smaller shows they have a wheelie competition and / or a donut contest. The goal in the wheelie competition is to hit a ramp and get big air while remaining perpendicular to the ground.
In the donut competition a driver tries to spin their truck until he/she gets dizzy, the truck can't go any more, or they think they have a high enough score to win. Side-by-side racing is traditional heads-up tournament racing, where the first truck to cross the finish line moves onto the next round until it is eliminated or wins the racing trophy by winning the Championship race.
The freestyle competition allows drivers two minutes on an open floor to show off their skills as they drive the trucks over cars, and doing stunts and tricks with their trucks. The freestyle winner is determined by 6 judges each giving a score out of 10. The high and the low scores are dropped that the fans gave. The max score is 40. There are two winners from both events, however if the same person that won racing that night also won freestyle that night then they get the biggest trophy, next to the world finals trophy, the Double Down trophy, named after the Double Down activities in Las Vegas at the Monster Jam World Finals.

As one of America's oldest cities, and the capital of Massachusetts, Boston's modern, vibrant streets echo its revolutionary past. Beyond being a historic milestone, Boston is also a thriving metropolis, rich with culture and hidden beauty.
Unfortunately, the city was thrust onto the world stage in 2013 for all the wrong reasons when three people were killed and more than 100 maimed during a terrorist attack during the Boston Marathon. Despite this, the city has rallied together and has proved it will stand staunch in the face of violence.
Founded in 1630, a stroll through the city is like reading pages from a history book. Key moments in the country's history from the American Revolution to the abolition of slavery are celebrated and encapsulated in numerous buildings and monuments. The best way to appreciate what the city has to offer is to pound its winding network of streets and diverse neighbourhoods - it's so compact and easy to navigate on foot and driving around the city is a nightmare.
From upmarket Beacon Hill and studenty Harvard to the Italian North End, Irish-influenced Southie' and Back Bay, with its shops and cafes. Like London, each district has its own charms and attractions. In fact, many visitors consider Boston to be one of the most European cities in North America.
Needless to say, it's attractive, enhanced by its natural waterfront setting -- Boston has a historic harbour and the meandering Charles River. In addition, numerous parks and a hot and sunny climate mean there is plenty to satisfy outdoor-lovers in the summer from bike rides to picnics and concerts. Whale watching cruises and the chance to go bird-watching in one of the city's 30-plus islands, which make up a national park, mean there are plenty of natural gems too close. However, autumn is also a popular time to visit, when trees in the city burst with flaming reds, browns and yellows, part of the legendary New England fall foliage.
A recommended spot to see the city in all its glory is from the Skywalk Observatory, on the 50th floor of the towering Prudential building. It is one of many soaring glass and steel skyscrapers that reflect the city's contemporary face, alongside a plethora of fabulous museums, edgy art galleries, sophisticated restaurants and a diverse nightlife scene.
And there's plenty of other attractions to explore. Ever fancied seeing a baseball match? You're in the right place. Head to Fenway Park to see the Red Sox in action. Love savouring a food market? Tuck into gourmet cuisine at Quincy Market, an unmissable indoor market in the city centre or sample freshly caugh lobster or the city's legendary clam chowder. Bit of a shopaholic? Check out the boutiques on Newbury Street, luxury shops in Copley Place or the the state's biggest outlet mall on the outskirts of the city.
One word of warning though; Boston is not cheap. You'll be hard pressed to find centrally located hotels for less than $100 a night, and this is ranked as one of the world's most expensive cities.

SCENIC SATURDAY IN JAMESTOWN RHODE ISLAND
Went on a day trip to Newport, Rhode Island than we went across the bridge to Jamestown, Rhode Island and this is Beavertail which is a little park with a lighthouse and small museum and aquarium. I did buy a few things in Newport so I will show you those in an upcoming video but this was so pretty that I just had to show you guys even if it was short. :)

Franklin County is the most rural county in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, and it shows! Farms, fields and valleys surround the historic villages and bustling towns. There is so much to do here - in our fine museums, educational institutions and cultural centers - but most of all, the great outdoors! Follow a back road, through a covered bridge, up into the hills and down again. Cruise the Connecticut River, ride the rapids of the Deerfield River between the green walls of Zoar gap.
Listen to the blues in a bookstore cafe, once an 1830's mill, or chamber music in a tiny rural church. Find a local swimming hole ... and spend a night or two at a hilltop farm, in a gracious mansion or 18th century homestead, in villages that have changed little since the 19th century.
