Top 10 Places to Retire in Asia.
Offering everything from lush, tropical rain forests to bustling mega-cities, Asia is one of the world’s most varied and interesting places to retire. With an increasing number of Western retirees seeking an ‘escape’ from the fast-paced life that they are used to, and Asia offering a cultural experience that’s second-to-none, the number of retirees seeking peace, comfort, and financial security in Asia has continued to increase.

Taipei Street Food - LIVE PUFFERFISH Fish + Seafood in TAIWAN at Fuji Fish Market!!
DANGEROUSLY Good Seafood in Taipei, Taiwan - FUJI FISH MARKET!!
A HUGE thank you to our friend, Robert, for helping us make this video possible!
Welcome to the third episode of our TAIPEI TAIWAN series! Today we meet up with a local Taiwanese friend who will show us an undiscovered part of Taiwan: Fuji Fish Port. Lying at the most northern tip of the island, we check out what kind of seafood the locals have access to in this rural town and exciting fish market. This market was full of EXOTIC fish and seafood that we have never seen before in Taiwan including PUFFER FISH not the FUGU kind!
The market is split into two sections: the market and the cooking/restaurant area. The market has all the fresh catches you could DREAM of. It is clean and modern. Bring a friend who can speak Mandarin/Chinese or Taiwanese as you will need to negotiate the price and choose how you would like your seafood cooked. Once you choose your seafood, the vendors will take you to a restaurant to have your seafood cooked immediately! So fresh and so delicious. What an incredible market and seafood FEAST! Make sure to check it out on your trip to TAIWAN!
We also check out FUHONG BEEF NOODLE an institution in Taipei city. Beef noodle (soup) is considered the national dish of Taiwan, and there are some AMAZING variations across the entire country. We checked out a local spot that earned a spot on the 2018 Michelin Recommended Guide, and now we know why! It was so tasty and CHEAP! Not to mention, open 24/7!!!

Fastest Dumplings (WORLD RECORD!) STREET FOOD in Taipei's BEST Night Market | Taiwan Street Food
STREET FOOD in TAIPEI, TAIWAN 2019- Nanjichang Night Market
We are taking you on an ultimate street food tour back in TAIPEI TAIWAN at a traditional and virtually unknown night market - the Nanjichang Night Market (南機場夜市) to eat what the locals in Taipei are eating!
We start the tour by visiting an infamous poached chicken stall and order the combo - chicken, rice and soup. Don’t forget to add the thick chili sauce! Next, we try a very unique dish called “ma you ji” which is a sesame, ginger and rice wine soup with chicken thigh. It was INSANELY delicious! This shop was awarded by Bib Gourmand selection and is the only one if its kind in the area! Next, we take you to an extremely traditional bakery that sells su bing for CHEAP! Go early, this place is busy! For the main course, we visit a dumpling & soup shop. These workers have insanely fast DUMPLING skills!!! Maybe some of the FASTEST in the world! We order their signature dumplings and their hot and sour soup. Now we are full! We squeeze in one more snack - grilled corn with sasha sauce. Absolutely amazing night of snacking at this local night market!

10 Best Things to do in Kyoto
There are a million things to do in Kyoto, but these were my personal favorites from my time in the most historical city in Japan.
Here are my 10 best things to do in Kyoto:
** The most important advice I can give is to wake up as early as possible, I mean super early.
1. Rent a bike - this is the best way to beat the tourist traffic in Kyoto.
---
2. Bamboo Forest - Small forest in the neighboring area of Arashiyama.
---
3. Fushimi Inari Shrine - It is literally a mountain of hidden shrines, symbolic figurines and a seemingly never-ending pathway to spiritual enlightenment.
---
4. Ninja Dojo Class - Kyoto is the cultural mecca of Japan, and while you’re here its good to get a taste of that - be it fact or folklore.
---
5. Kyoto Samurai Experience - As you’ve seen in last week’s video, begin to understand the way of the warrior through samurai training.
---
6. Imperial Palace - Within Kyoto’s Central Park, is the Imperial Palace. Its a massive campus with pristine gardens and lots of room to do royal things.
---
7. Kinkaku-ji - “the Golden Pavilion” another expansive grounds centered around this lavish zen buddhist temple.
---
8. Heian Shrine - a beautiful Shinto shrine.
---
9. Gion District - Perhaps the most popular thing to do in Kyoto. This is where you can spot the famous geishas heading to and from appointments. Watch the sunset next to the Yasaka Pagoda.
---
Bonus: Find a great Shabu Shabu restaurant.
---
10. Karaoke - Finish the day at a Japanese Karaoke spot where you pay by the hour to sing and party!
---
In my personal opinion, these are the best things to do in Kyoto.

Best Places To Visit In Tokyo, Japan
For our final stop in Asia, we stopped in Shinjuku, Japan for a week. We tried to fit in as much hiking and sight-seeing activities in Japan, so during our stay in Shinjuku, my friends and I have decided to go on a bur tour to Mt. Fuji and Hakone.
Here’s a glimpse of what we did in Japan!
-Meiji Jingu Shrine & Garden (shrine of national prayer for peace and prosperity)
-restaurants around Shinjuku (including Sushizanmai, Kingdom of Teppan Shinjuku, etc.)
-famous Shibuya Crossing
-Muji mini haul
-Tsukiji Nippon Fish Port Market (famous for Tuna bidding)
-Diver City Tokyo Plaza (with the world’s only full-size Gundam statue)— great place to shop for Japan-themed souvenirs!
-Standing Sushi Bar (I highly recommend this place as it was probably my most fave place to eat in Japan)
-Tokyo Skytree
-Tokyo Solamachi (shopping and entertainment complex located right under world’s famous Tokyo Skytree landmark in Sumida district of Tokyo)
-Ueno Zoological Gardens (a wide variety of animals from around the world)
-Ueno Park
-Mount Fuji tour and Hakone tour from Shinjuku (Mt. Fuji 5th Station observation deck, Hakone Kojiri Terminal for a cruise to Hakone Komagatake Aerial Terminal Ropeway, etc.)
-Nabezo Shibuya Centre Gai (perfect place for hot pot and shabu shabu, Japanese beef)
