Nami Island is a wonderful place to see beautiful colors, take strolls with your loved ones, eat some tasty snacks, and enjoy nature! There are many things to do on the island to include: nature walks, boat riding and water activities, zip-lining, enjoy cafes and restaurants, and even stay at pensions. You will go through pretend immigration, which makes the adventure really feel special. Nami Island is a definite stop on your Korea To Visit list!
There was a famous drama filmed here called 겨울연가 (Winter Sonata). Which first aired in January 14, 2002.

Using Gyeongchun Exressway (driving) Olympic Expressway(Seoul) - Gangil IC – Expressway 60(Gyeongchun Expressway, towards Chuncheon) - Hwado IC (towards Maseok/Chungpyeong) – Road 46 - Maseok IC (towards Chuncheon/Chungpyeong) – Road 46(towards Chungpyeong/Gapyeong/Chuncheon City) - Daesungri - Chungpyeong – Gapyeong five-way crossing (Turn right around SK Gas Station) – Road 75 -After 800m make a left turn – After 600m at the wharf for Nami Island

To get to Nami Island, get off at Gapyeong Bus Terminal and then take a taxi to Nami Island parking lot.

This is the best place to have mouth watering food, Braised Spicy Chicken, in Gapyeong, Gyeonggi-do.
You can enjoy soft chicken and hot spicy but addictive souce!!

We love Korean summers! From Seoul we drove towards Gapyeong, made a pit stop at Nami Island, then went glamping for the night.
