The Rhine Falls is the largest waterfall in Switzerland and Europe.The falls are located on the High Rhine on the border between the cantons of Schaffhausen and Zürich , between the municipalities of Neuhausen am Rheinfall and Laufen-Uhwiesen/Dachsen , next to the town of Schaffhausen in northern Switzerland. They are 150 metres wide and 23 metres high. In the winter months, the average water flow is 250 m3/s , while in the summer, the average water flow is 600 m3/s . The highest flow ever measured was 1,250 cubic metres per second in 1965; and the lowest, 95 cubic metres per second in 1921.The falls can not be climbed by fish, except by eels that are able to eel their way up over the rocks.

Wir starten unseren Rundgang durch Gossau in der Schweiz im Kanton St. Gallen in der Herisauer Straße. Anschließend gehen wir weiter in die St. Galler Straße. Über die Friedbergstraße gehen wir hinauf zur Kirche Haldenbüel mit Ausblick auf die Schweizer Alpen. Danach geht es wieder zurück in die St. Galler Straße und dann vor bis zum Kreisel an der Bischofszellerstraße. Dort drehen wir um und gehen über die St. Galler Straße und die Herisauerstrasse zurück zum Ausgangspunkt.

Wir starten unten am Wasserfall und gehen hinauf bis zum Fußweg auf die andere Rheinseite. Im Juni 2015 war der Rheinfall prall gefüllt mit Wasser und dies bei besten Lichtverhältnissen.

We start at the bottom of the Rhinefall and go upstairs with the walking camera. The filming took place in June 2015 with lots of water in the Waterfalls.
