Gunjur is a small coastal town in south-western Gambia. It is located in Kombo South District in the Western Division. As of 2009, it has an estimated population of 17,520.It has been linked with Marlborough in Wiltshire, United Kingdom Of Great Britain And Northern Ireland since 1981 and in that time over 1700 people have travelled between the two communities through The Marlborough Brandt Group.
