Cherry blossom festival, Cheerio Gardens, South Africa..wmv
Once a year, the cerry blossom festival in Magoebaskloof, in Limpopo, South Africa, celebrates spring. A wide variety of activities awaits the visitors, whilst enjoying the spectacular show of beauty from the hand of nature.
One of the locations of this festival, is the Cheerio Gardens farm, with a long and interesting history.
At the spur of the moment, we have spend heritage day at the festival. Unfortunately there were no time to visit the other sites, before driving back to Pretoria at night - a good 336 km there, and then 336km back again. It was worth the effort, and this one single jewel in the mountain used our whole day, without us realising. The video share a few golden moments of a fresh spring day in South Africa. Enjoy!
