Finsbury Park is a 46 hectares (110 acres) public park in the London Borough of Haringey. Officially part of the London neighbourhood of Harringay, it is also adjacent to Stroud Green, the Finsbury Park district and Manor House. It was one of the first of the great London parks laid out in the Victorian era.

Sports facilities in the park include football pitches, a bowling green, an athletics stadium, and tennis and basketball courts. Unusually for London, the park hosts two facilities for American sports: an American football field, home national champions London Blitz, and diamonds for softball and baseball, home to the national champions the London Mets.

Entrances on Endymion Road N4, Seven Sisters Road N4 and Green Lanes N4.



A £5 million Heritage Lottery Fund Award, made in 2003, enabled significant renovations including cleaning the lake, building a new cafe and children's playground and resurfacing and repairing the tennis courts.

Welcome aboard London's... Creepy... Railway! This will probably be my only video on Great Northern's Class 313 before they get replaced by the all-new Class 717 EMU units later this year (2018). I will definitely be sad to see these old puppies go... some are already 41 years old!

Railway Touring Company Great Britain 3

Continuing our journey around the UK in Spring 2010 chaising steam engines.
Nine days sat in a seat didn't seem to much fun so we decided to follow in the Thunderbird.
