Kitale is the capital town of Trans Nzoia County. The National Museum of Western Kenya is located at Kitale. It is a natural history museum and was originally created by Lt Col. Hugh Stoneham in 1926. Just next to the museum there is a demonstration farm with agroforestry practices run by a Swedish non-governmental organisation called Vi Agroforestry.

Our crew of 13 to Lodwar, Turkana County for a live shoot the next day but missed our flight. the Live shoot was to start at 10am the following morning. What resulted was a race against time. The journey was 690kms of rough road and bad challenging weather.
