The Dandenong Ranges are a set of low mountain ranges, rising to 633 metres at Mount Dandenong, approximately 35 km east of Melbourne, Victoria, Australia. The ranges consist mostly of rolling hills, steeply weathered valleys and gullies covered in thick temperate rainforest, predominantly of tall Mountain Ash trees and dense ferny undergrowth. HSP - HALAL SNACK PACK - Melbourne street food invention - Australian food tour

In this episode of The Hunger Fixer's food tour of Melbourne we try an iconic Melbourne food invention, a late night snack called HSP or Halal Snack Pack.

We try Smith Kebab's in Fitroy, for their awesome HSP, one of the largest Halal Snack Packs sold in the area.

There is an option of Lamb Or Chicken or Mixed HSP, and we chose the mixed HSP to taste both the Lamb and Chicken combined.

The result was one of the best HSP I've had for a long time. The chips were hot, crispy and fresh while the sliced rotisserie meats were well marinated which was full of

flavour and saturated the chips underneath.

The trip started with the inland route via the Hume/Newell Highway, cutting across to the coastal route after Parkes via the Oxley Highway, then up to Brisbane via the Pacific Highway.
