5 INCREDIBLE Things To Do In Mornington Peninsula | Local Melbourne Secrets (2019)
Explore these 5 secret offbeat places and things to do in Mornington Peninsula - a stunning piece of coast in the very south of Victoria, Australia. Discover offbeat beaches and rugged shorelines that are sure to take your breath away.
Get off the main road and see the true beauty of the Mornington Peninsula on its back beaches - we'll take you on an unforgettable adventure through Sorrento, Blairgowrie, Cape Shanck and Point Nepean National Park - coastlines, beaches, rock pools and blowholes that will steal your breath away. Quite literally.
The most beautiful Mornington Peninsula attractions are all free-of-charge and really are Mother Nature's finest works of art. We head down every summer and stumble upon a new natural marvel each time, which is why we can never get enough of its beauty. If you're not up for a 3-hour trip to see the sights down at the Great Ocean Road, I would highly recommend a day or weekend trip to this gorgeous corner of Victoria that - pretty much - is almost the same thing but on a smaller scale.
And, of course - a trip here isn't complete without a visit to the Mornington Peninsula Spa, or Hot Springs. After a long day of hiking jagged coastlines and exploring various beaches, relax and unwind in these natural mineral pools and soak up the serene atmosphere that surrounds you.
Only a short one and a half hour drive from the CBD - it's a perfect Melbourne day trip and one of the best things to do in Victoria, Australia.

Explore Port Douglas, Tropical North Queensland
Port Douglas is the gateway to the World Heritage wonders of Tropical North Queensland: the Great Barrier Reef and the Wet Tropics rainforest at Daintree and Cape Tribulation.
Feel the pace slow as you revitalise with lazy days on the Great Barrier Reef, wander down the main street for boutique shopping with a tropical twist, dine with the birds at a wildlife park or board the Lady Douglas for a leisurely cruise through the mangrove forests and spot a Saltwater Crocodile in the wild. Stay at Mantra Port Sea for the ultimate tropical holiday.

Top 10 Biggest Ports in the World
The busiest ports in the world are determined on the basis of the container traffic passing through them. Thus, it is not necessary that the biggest ports in the world are also the busiest ports in the world.
The marine domain has increased by leaps and bounds in the past few decades, necessitating port and harbour facilities to accommodate these ever-increasing requirements.
This is precisely why shipping authorities in every nation, are focussing of ensuring that their shipping ports are adequate to cater to the needs of the industry operators and drivers.
However, even while each nation focuses on improving its port infrastructure, there are a few global leaders with marine ports – bigger and busier than all others.
Portsea London Bridge - one of the most scenic paragliding flying sites
Thank you to my paragliding friends for their support and advise for making this video - this is truly one of the most scenic places in Victoria. Unfortunately there wasn't enough wind on the day to lift the wings, but the scenery made up for it.
The Portsea paragliding flying site close to London Bridge is within the Mornington Peninsula National Park and offers sensational views of London Bridge, the beach and rock platforms below.
