Attractions in MAUI, HAWAII: A coast-to-coast trip through this magical Hawaiian island
Need some things to do in Maui, Hawaii? I recently spent 8 days in Maui and packed a lot into the trip. I drove to every coast and explored everything I could. The island was beautiful, the hikes were fantastic and the snorkeling was the best I have ever experienced.
My Road to Hana video:
Some of the highlights of my journey are depicted in this video and they include driving the Road to Hana, snorkeling in Ahihi Bay, hiking at La Perouse Bay, hiking at Iao Valley State Park, visiting the Nakalele Blowhole, hiking the Ohai Trail, swimming near Lahaina, snorkeling at Molokini Crater, watching the surfers at Ho'okipa State Beach Park and eating delicious food in the town of Paia.
Maui was so beautiful and unforgettable.

~Respect the locals.

~This ain't the mainland... so take it slow, enjoy the drive, but pull over if others need to get around.

Virtual Trip Hawaii | 4K | 2015
8 days in Maui
Stayed in Maui for 8 days and explored the island with friends. We camped at Waianapanapa State Park and Hosmer Grove for 4 days and stayed at an Air BnB for the remainder of the trip.
Camping at Waianapanapa is $18 per night (reserve ahead of time) but worth it because there are plenty of things to see, however, lots of bugs and Hosmer Grove is $25 for three nights (first come first serve). You may also use this permit to camp at Kipahulu where you can find Waimoku falls (400 ft tall) and Seven Sacred Pools. Hosmer Grove is THE place for stargazing. Definitely, recommend doing the hike to the crater as well. You'd have to do some hitchhiking but getting a ride was super easy. Watching the sunrise at Haleakala would require some luck. We went around December. Check the weather before going. The seven sacred pools (O'heo Gulch) was closed when we went due to the amount of rainfall. The trip was fun! I recommend hiking and exploring rather than stopping only for pictures.
