The region is named after the Kuringgai tribe who once inhabited the area. Major transport routes through the area include the Pacific Highway and North Shore railway line. My friends and I headed north to Berowra to complete the 10km Berowra to Mt Ku-ring-gai hike in the Ku-ring-gai Chase National Park. This video is a summary of the enjoyable (yet slightly tiring day). I hope you enjoy!

PS. Pro tip: always bring a first aid kit, otherwise you may be left with nothing more than a wet sock to numb the pain of a bull ant sting.
