Exploring Japan's Beach Towns! Kamakura and Enoshima
We travel to Kanagawa to check out some of Japan's closest beach towns, Kamakura and Enoshima. We hit some of the well-known spots as well as some of the lesser know hidden gems that that are off the beaten path. Also, I got to stay in one of the nicest hotels I've ever stayed at, Shonan Crystal Hotel.
Finally, while exploring Japan, you'll definitely come across a lot of interesting and unique food. In this video, we tried one of Enoshima's local specialties, shirasu. Shirasu, are basically tiny tiny sardines and Enoshima is the best place to get them if you want them raw. Definitely a food that you can find only in japan

John in Japan Episode 5 Adventures In Miyazaki
Episode 5 of my video series John in Japan. Yes I know it has been a long time since my last video, nearly 3 months. At first there was nothing happening, I went over a month not doing anything overly exciting, so I had to footage to use, then the earthquake and tsunami hit, but not in my area, so again nothing for me to show here, Then come end of march and into April I actually went exploring some places. I was then plagued by technical issues that delayed this by yet another week or so, but now here it is!
This video has robots, and shrines, and onsen, and mountains and waterfalls and road trips and a whole mix of stuff, enjoy!

Fukuoka World CM Festival 2009 世界CMフェスティバル
Fukuoka Now's Senior Editor, Rob Morgan, and I take on a night marathoning over 500 of the world's finest advertisements. Unfortunately, since due to copyright policies, I didn't think I could include any of the commercials, so instead I threw together a short clip highlighting the live performances and the banana stand.
The event started Friday Night at 9:00pm, and ended the next morning at 5:00am. The audience members remained in good spirits all night, and there were non-stop live performances to keep the viewers awake and entertained.
All in all, it was a good night.

With waves rolling along the beautiful white sand, Kikugahama Beach in Hagi Town of Yamaguchi Prefecture, it is a popular place for locals and visitors. From barbecuing to breathtaking sunsets, in the summertime, visitors can view local fireworks from the beaches of Kikugahama.
Kikugahama Beach is located at the foot of the Hagi Castle Ruins. Also nearby is Mount Shizuki, a local mountain with a height of 143 meters.

7 Wonders of India: Kushinagar
Set against a pastoral landscape, the small hamlet of Kushinagar, 53 km west of Gorakhpur, is revered as the site of the Buddha's Mahaparinirvana, his death and cremation, that marked his final liberation from the cycles of death and rebirth. During Buddha's lifetime, Kushinara, as it was then called, was a small town in the kingdom of the Mallas, surrounded by a thick forest cover. It remained forgotten, until the late nineteenth century, when archaeologists rediscovered the site, and began excavations. Today, Kushinagar is rediscovering its roots, as a centre for international Buddhism, and is home to many viharas, including a Tibetan gompa devoted to Sakyamuni, a Burmese vihara, and temples from China and Japan.
