Roman Sites
These are the site we visited in Italy. The colliseum, The Forum, The Vatician. We took the high speed rail to Naples and the local commuter train to Herculaneum. An ancient city destroyed by Mt. Vesuvius at the same time Pompeii was. While in Herculaneum they excavated bone out of a boat dock where people had taken shelter from the exploding volcano. Then we went to Castellammare di Stabiais for lunch, then took the High speed back to Rome.
