Nach einer Filmvorführung geht es durch den ehemaligen Munitionseingang ins das Innere. Es wird anhand von Ausstellungsobjekten und Filmeinschnitten alles zur Befestigung und deren Geschichte erklärt. Anschließend sollte man die Führung unbedingt mitmachen um die Kaserne mit Sanitätsabteilung, Operationsraum, Großküche, Bereitschafts- und Ruherräume, Duschen und Toiletten, sowie Kraftwerk- und Heizungsanlage mit Werkstätten zu sehen.
