Beautiful snow video! Driving through the Pyrenees mountains
On our way to Salou, Spain my husband used the route through the Pyrenees mountains as a short cut, but it was anything but! Even in late April the mountains had parts of pure snow and eventually we couldn't cross because of a road closure from too much snow. Also, as you can see, the roads of the mountains are very twisted and winded, during this trip I threw up about 3 times from motion sickness, my son once. Also, even though you see cities and parts of the mountains covered in thick snow, there are areas of the mountain absolutely beautiful in spring weather just minutes from the snow! The towns we passed are ax-les-thermes and luzenac in the Ariege department of France. This is the first time of my life where I experienced all four seasons in one day! :) April 16, 2012
