Chitlang | towards organic way of living
#Chitlang is located at Makawanpur district, Chitlang Village Development Committee. It is about 22 KM from Kathmandu in the South West direction.
Before Opening of TRIBHUWAN RAJPATH (High way to link India and Kathmandu), CHITLANG was only one “On foot Highway” to get India and the Southern part of Nepal. Normally, motors carry people; it is only the place in the world, where motors used to carry by people because there was not road Kathmandu valley and BHIMPHEDI (a place near Terai Region of Nepal).

The water fall lies in Jalbire (Narayangarh - Mugling Highway) of Chitwan, which is 6km towards Narayangarh from Mugling and 30km towards Mugling from Narayangarh. There is no specific transportation to Jalbire, that's why you have to hire a jeep/car or catch express buses that runs in this highway.

Arrival at Nepal :
Tribhuvan International Airport is the only international airport of Nepal. The Department of Immigration has been facilitating tourists flying to Nepal by providing Visa on Arrival. Tourist Visa 'On Arrival' is the only entry visa to Nepal.
After Arriving you need to:
- Fill in 'Arrival Card
- Fill in Online ‘Tourist Visa' form, fill it up using Kiosk machines upon your arrival at the airport.
Accommodation:
We recommend you to stay at Thamel Grand Hotel which has a fabulous restaurant name Olive. You can try the traditional Nepali soup called Thukpa. You can also try Nepali Thali, Momo.
There are lots of shops just nearby of the hotel we recommended. Thamel is the main area of hotel, restaurants and for shopping.
