The Mandan are a Native American tribe of the Great Plains who have lived for centuries primarily in what is now North Dakota. They are enrolled in the Three Affiliated Tribes of the Fort Berthold Reservation. George Armstrong Custer was a United States Army officer and cavalry commander in the American Civil War and the American Indian Wars. Raised in Michigan and Ohio, Custer was admitted to West Point in 1857, where he graduated last in his class in 1861. The Salem witchcraft trial of 1878, also known as the Ipswich witchcraft trial and the second Salem witch trial, was an American civil case held in May 1878 in Salem, Massachusetts, in which Lucretia L. S. Brown, an adherent of the Christian Science religion, accused fellow Christian Scientist Daniel H. Spofford of attempting to harm her through his mesmeric mental powers. By 1918, it was considered the last witchcraft trial held in the United States. The case garnered significant attention for its startling claims and because it took place in Salem, the scene of the 1692 Salem witch trials. The judge dismissed the case.

FAMILY TRAVEL IN NORTH DAKOTA // Blessings in the Middle of Nowhere

Continuing our trip out west with a drive across North Dakota and Montana. Basically, the middle of nowhere, although we DID find the roadside attraction of the Geographical Center of North America in the middle of nowhere...lol!

God is still blessing our family and taking care of us all along our journey to Seattle. Today we share another miracle blessing for our family as we head toward Kalispell, Montana where we will be staying with some of Trent's high school friends that he hasn't seen in years.

Stay tuned for more vlogs as we share the adventure and provision of God in our westward family roadtrip. Very soon we will be in Seattle and on a plane bound for the middle of the Pacific Ocean!!!

Strasburg, North Dakota is a special place and this is a special video. When my great grandfather moved to the United States of America, this is where he moved to. In this documentary, the Kraft family travels from Bismarck to Strasburg for a walk down memory lane with 93 year old Al Kraft. We visit the former home of Al Kraft, go to a house he built, and meet friendly locals. We also visit the beautiful, historic church and visit the cemetery where our relatives are buried.
