Cheyenne River Sioux Tribal Ventures OVERVIEW
Learn about Cheyenne River Sioux Tribal Ventures.
For more than ten years, Tribal Ventures has been studying poverty on the Cheyenne River Reservation in South Dakota.
After more than 500 hours of community meetings and input from nearly 1,000 people, we crafted 'The People's Plan,' a blueprint for economic success on Cheyenne River as laid out by the residents themselves.
This video illustrates some of the projects that have been implemented, guided by the People's Plan. We are sharing our successes, as well as the lessons we have learned, in the years since we were entrusted with the People's vision of prosperity for ourselves.
It is an honor to serve the people of Cheyenne River and we are grateful for the opportunity to bring to fruition the ideas of our residents. Thank you to the Northwest Area Foundation, our partner organizations and to the people of Cheyenne River for your input, encouragement, support and prayers.
