The Battle of Marawi , also known as the Marawi siege and the Marawi crisis , was a five-month-long armed conflict in Marawi, Lanao del Sur, that started on 23 May 2017, between Philippine government security forces and militants affiliated with the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant , including the Maute and Abu Sayyaf Salafi jihadist groups. 1. Lake Lanao Marawi
Marawi is the capital city of Lanao del Sur province in the Philippines. At the 2015 census, it had a population of 201,785. The people of Marawi are called the Maranaos and speak the Maranao language. They are named after Lake Lanao, called Meranau in their language, upon whose shores Marawi lies. The city is also called the Summer Capital of the South because of its higher elevation and cooler climate, a nickname it shares with Malaybalay, which legally holds the title.

ENCHANTED RIVER // A Mindanao MUST SEE - Philippines

Woke up 5 am to be the first one at the spot, only to find out it opened at 8 am. Managed to talk to the supervisor and the mayor of the town to grant us early access to this magical area. The Enchanted River is a must see must go spot in Mindanao. You'll be best of going to Hinatuan town and go from there to the river. Recommend go there about 11 clock. 12 clock the feeding starts.

THE NIAGARA FALLS OF PHILIPPINES

Another location requested by you guys. It's been called the mini Niagara falls of the Philippines. Not the easiest drive to get there. 15km of rough road but the drive is worth it. Spectacular waterfall!

THE MOST BEAUTIFUL ISLAND IN THE WORLD // Sambawan Philippines

From Naval I head north of Biliran to get a 1 and half hour boat to the so far most beautiful island I've visited in Philippines, Sambawan. There I met few locals during the day and after I had the whole island for myself. The water is crystal clear and not as salty as normally. Has a beautiful small hill to hike for amazing pictures. Later the night I experienced the most insane thunderstorm I've ever witnessed.. Overall unforgettable experience.
