HAIDA GWAII [Queen Charlotte Islands]
Why were the Haida compared to the Vikings?
I came up with BeKeSe (Best Kept Secrets) to draw everyone’s attention to lesser-known wonderful things other people have created over the years, whether it is a building, clothing, a legend, a tradition, a village, or an entire country.
BeKeSe is not just about traveling to see something, but to feel the creative energy, even from your couch. I chose the ones I absolutely love. Many of them are places of mystery, secrecy, magic, legends, and allure. While the videos are edited by me only some of the photographs are taken by me. I am grateful to the others that have contributed.
I would love your feedback, suggestions and artistic contribution to help BeKeSe grow. I hope you enjoy, like, and share the videos.

Yoho National Park, British Columbia - Canada
British Columbia From Above | 2018
I was lucky enough to travel around the beautiful province of BC this year thanks to my job and great friends. Filming and editing this video was an absolute pleasure and I can't wait to make another. Enjoy :)
Where would you and your friends go?
My Dream Vacation would be to float plane in, and then do a Kayaking trip around one of the inlets.
I think if there is one thing every Canadian should do is to come out west at least once in their lives, because I don't think that place exists anywhere in the world.
you know, when I think about traveling in BC, specific to airfare, I think that one of the unique things that we have here are small commercial airlines that allow you to get to places very fast. We're blessed here with some pretty stunning natural beauty that you can get too and it is accessible.
I would recommend 'Bella Coola' because it is such and untouched area and there is so much natural beauty up there and lots of interesting First Nations culture and things to do.
It's the reason that I stay here and not going back to California. The reason I stay here is because of the wilderness beauty. So it's the Kayaking and it's the backpacking.
I love getting away, I guess I place a lot of priority on new experiences
Usually if I'm traveling for vacation, and I'm traveling in small groups, probably with my husband or maybe another couple.
Having people around you know and your familiar with and you can enjoy other things with it's a great way to experience another place.
Two is company
Three is a crowd
Four is a party
Four would make a great Euchre game, as well as a fantastic opportunity to put four people in a boat and go off exploring.
Now until September 30th, Pacific Coastal Airlines is offering a special seat sale for you and your get away crew. Book 3 seats and get a fourth for free. With 65+ destinations in British Columbia where would you and your friends go?
