Round trip flight from Prince Rupert to Haida Gwaii in bad weather.
Round trip flight in less than ideal conditions. We left Prince Rupert in good weather but hit a snow storm on the way to Haida Gwaii. But the weather cleared pretty nicely. On the way back from Masset to Prince Rupert, we hit multiple snow storms where visibility went from bad to almost none. We flew around the worst but had to land in the ocean 30 km out of town, then land again 5 km away from the Sea Plane base. We taxied that last 5 km portion since snow was still coming down hard.

We are then shown around the McLean Mill, the oldest and only steam run wood mill in Canada today.
This episodes music video is by the amazingly talented Ezekiel Kelly.
Lastly we are then shown the Ucluelet's scenic 'Pacific Wild Trail' by it's creator Oyster Jim.
I leave you this episode with a quick preview to the Wet Wild and Wacky BC Christmas I shared with a beautiful Canadian family, the Hilberry Clan on Denman Island.
Enjoy and see you soon for another episode.

Haida Gwaii - Islands of the People (originally, in Haida: Xhaaidlagha Gwaayaai islands on the boundry between the worlds): These are the names given to the islands by the native Haida. The group of islands is located on the edge of the continental shelf, 100 km from the Canadian west coast. The maritime climate is relatively mild, making it a wonderful place for your time-out. The islands can be reached by airplane every day (from Vancouver to Sandspit in 1.5h).Wildsilence Retreat will turn your time-out into a special experience. The unique island world, the competent support and consulting, the customized accommodation and the manifold possibilities to experience yourself in nature contribute to a successful analysis of your situation and your sabbatical.
