Mórahalom is a developing town located 20 km far from Szeged, only 12 km from the western exit of the M5 motorway, along the main road 55. The name of the town originates from the sand dune of “Móra Halma”, which was first mentioned in 1729. The Ópusztaszer National Heritage Park is an open-air museum of Hungarian history in Ópusztaszer, Hungary. It was established in 1982 and is most famous for being the location of the Feszty Panorama, a cyclorama by Árpád Feszty and his assistants, depicting the beginning of the Hungarian conquest of the Carpathian Basin in 895. The painting was completed in 1894 for the 1000th anniversary of the event. In the 1970s, a decision was made to build a heritage park in Csongrád County. Restoration of the Arrival of the Hungarians painting and the construction of a new rotunda for the cyclorama began. Construction stopped in 1979 and parts of the canvas were again stored rolled up. When there is a nice weather and we dont work, it is a great pleasure to ride some motorcycle ( in my case Honda Transalp) , far or near -this time the goal was lake @ Backa Topola. The water depth was right , do I did not go in the water. Slowly people are coming more and more , the strength of the Sun is greater . The time was perfect not cold and not to hot. Some brave individuals ( a family :) kids and mama papa ) where taking a dip and swim.
It was joyful and peaceful :) Hope you like it to.
