Explore Western Australia - Perth Lifestyle
Perth is regularly named among the world’s most liveable cities, probably because its amazing fresh produce and lively cultural scene can be enjoyed with 131 perfectly clear blue-sky days every year.
Perth’s neighbouring city of Fremantle is recognised as one of the best-preserved Victorian-era port street-scapes in the world, and was listed in Lonely Planet's top ten cities to visit in 2016. Its lively fishing port and café strip are perfect places for you to enjoy local craft beer, bohemian charm, laid-back vibe and vibrant art scene.
A favourite hang-out for the locals is Mount Lawley’s buzzing Beaufort Street, where a string of award-winning restaurants, cool bars and chilled out coffee shops give you a taste of its stylish village vibe.
Perth is also the only Australian capital city where you can watch an ocean sunset from one of 19 beautiful white sand beaches, all within easy reach of the city, including the iconic Cottesloe Beach Sunday sessions.
From here, it’s just a short drive by car, or ride by bus or train for an evening meandering through Perth’s ever-growing laneways to sample the city's funky small bar and restaurant scene.

Perth at night - which bars to check out
Ready to paint the town red?
Postcard-perfect paradise by day, Perth transforms into a spirited party town after the sun goes down.
The streets come alive with music and colour as droves flock to pumping clubs and pubs. Following a recent change in licensing laws there has also been a big rise in the number of small bars and this is really captivating the imagination of the Perth nightlife cognoscenti.
Main places to go include:
Perth CBD (particularly the West End)
Swan River (South Perth)
Northbridge (Perth's cultural hub)
Subiaco (10 minutes west of the Perth CBD)
Fremantle (a bustling port city is about 30 minutes drive south of Perth City)
Victoria Park (just across the river from the CBD)
However, as this video shows, don't forget to check out the night delights of Mount Lawley, about 10 minutes north east of the Perth CBD, where you'll find a precinct jammed with a selection of pubs, cafes and restaurants.

PERTH (POOR EXCUSE FOR A VLOG)
Perth....
The buses and trains are super easy. Download the Transperth app, buy a Transperth card from any bus/train station. The card is $10 alone! I was there for 3 months and probably spent $200 or less. It's more expensive than Sydney but it is a good service.
Fremantle...
I LOVE FREMANTLE! The history is amazing, I would recommend to go to the prison and round house. Apparently Banksy has done work in Freo (as the aussies call it).
Perth...
City beach is about 20 minutes from the city centre, remember to swim inbetween the yellow and red flags, they are there for a reason, it's safe. Don't be a bellend.
Cottesloe is a lovely beach and a lovely area, we went to the beach there at 8 am and it was absolutely beautiful! There is a really nice indoor food market called the BoatShed, it's very pricey but the food looks amazing and the fruit is mouth watering. Becks and I had to treat ourselves.
Northbridge...
Northbridge has an awesome night life, when we were there Fringe Fest was on which is like the big festival in Edinburgh, Scotland. There were tons of shows from comedy to burlesque. Northbridge has loads of cool places to eat too, Vietnamese and Asian styled food is very popular out here.
I do really like Perth, especially south WA. When I get the time and money I want to travel north WA. Perth is very family friendly, although it is a big city, it doesn't have a city vibe.
Travel down south if you are visitinh WA. South vlog will be coming soon.
