Karrakatta is a suburb of Perth, Western Australia, located within the City of Nedlands and 7 km west of the CBD. Its postcode is 6010. Karrakatta is composed of two distinct areas, due to the Fremantle railway line passing through the suburb. On the south side is Karrakatta Cemetery, which began service in 1899, with a small industrial area occupied by monument builders, associated companies and the depot for City of Nedlands. The other area north of the railway line and Karrakatta railway station is occupied by the Australian Defence Force's Irwin Army Barracks.

Cottesloe is a western suburb of Perth, Western Australia, within the Town of Cottesloe. Cottesloe was named for Thomas Fremantle, 1st Baron Cottesloe, a prominent Tory politician and the brother of Admiral Sir Charles Fremantle for whom the city of Fremantle was named. The nearby suburb of Swanbourne was named for the Fremantle family seat, Swanbourne House, in Swanbourne, Buckinghamshire. Cottesloe was home to Australian Prime Minister John Curtin. The house he built still stands in Jarrad Street. It is now vested jointly in the National Trust of Australia and Curtin University.

In this episode Mark and I are going on an adventure on a boat. We are hoping to see some whales. Humpback whales to be precise, as they are currently on their way down south along the Australian coast.
Between September to November their migration to the cool waters of Antarctica keeps them close to the coast of Western Australia so we decided to hop on a boat in Perth to go and see them.
We go with 'Mills Charters'. A company I have been going with for many years and can highly recommend for anyone interested.
We spend a few hours out on the ocean and are being rewarded!

Back on land Mark has got a very curious thought. Maybe you might know the answer?

70. Freycinet Golf Club, Swanwick Tasmania

Freycinet Golf Club in Swanwick at the Freycinet National Park Tasmania provided us a campground which is pet friendly to allow us a close base to discover the amazing region.
A maximum stay is 5 nights and the sites are level and plenty of space.
You need to be fully self contained although there are toilets open 24 hours at the Golf Club and bins are available.
It is located just 6kms from Coles Bay.
Cost is $10 per night, the video explains the process for paying.
Our stay was 29th January 2017.
