नागौर शब्द की उत्पत्ति नाग दुर्ग से हुई है चौथी शताब्दी के आसपास नागाओं ने यहां पर एक किला बनवाया था जो कच्ची मिट्टी का बना हुआ था जिसे गांव में घर होते हैं उसी तरह का आगे चलकर धीरे-धीरे समय बीतता गया वैसे वैसे इसके अंदर रख रखाव करके और मेंटेनेंस करके जो पक्का बनवा दिया गया लेकिन नागाओं ने जो किला बनवाया था उसी से नागा दुर्ग नाम पड़ा और नागा दुर्ग से नागौर जगह का नाम पड़ा

MERTA, INDIA - FIRST DRONE TO FLY OVER THE ANCIENT CITY
I drove a motorbike from Pushkar to the ancient city of Merta. Met a cool guy named Praveen who showed me all the spots and invited me back to his house. We had chai tea his Mum made, chatted with his little brother and sent the drone from his rooftop. Just another day in India on this crazy road trip.
