Hike with me - To the cross above Nocelle - Positano
Join me for a hike up to the iron cross on top of the mountain above Nocelle.
I give you clear instructions on how to do this yourselves if you want to hike in Positano and want an alternative to the busy Path of the Gods.
Or if you'd rather join me from your sofa, just sit and watch!
From Piazza Mulini in Positano you can catch a bus up to Nocelle at 20 past every hour (in season).
I would advise against walking up to Nocelle and doing this hike.
I would also advise that you wear proper footwear NOT flipflops or sandals. (Yes, I have seen flipflop wearing tourists in bikinis on the Path of the Gods and it just looks, and is irresponsible and stupid)

The Best Hike in the World is Italy’s Path of the Gods
The Amalfi Coast in Italy is simply one of the most beautiful places on earth, with its unique beaches, stunning fresco style houses and gorgeous views. It also has lots to offer if you like boutique shopping and delicious Italian food. What some people might not know is that the Amalfi Coast is also home to one of the most beautiful hikes in the world. Il Sentiero degli Dei also known as The Path of Gods is a 3 hour hike along the epic coast line. The surroundings of the hike are full of natural beauty with blooming Mediterranean vegetation, isolated farms and really cool old houses that are slowly decaying by the forces of nature. It's all here in our latest episode of Shorts, where we discover the best parts of the world in bite size format.

Come to work with me - A fashion shoot in Atrani
I was booked for a fashion shoot for a local clothes store (queenmoda.it) and thought it would be fun to bring you along. I can't really film when I'm doing weddings as it wouldn't be fair to the brides, so this was the perfect opportunity.
As the clothes haven't been released yet I had to avoid filming them, but you get an idea of what a days work looks like and also a look around Atrani, next to Amalfi.
Please bear in mind this is not a tourist guide to Atrani so there are no explanations of what to see or where to find places, this is simply just a day in my life.

Exploring Naples above and below!
We escaped Positano after Christmas and spent a couple of days with all the family in Naples. We took them up to the Castel Sant'Elmo in Vomero with amazing views over the city and then we took them to Napoli Sotteraneo, Naples Underground where we say wartime graffitti and squeezed through very narrow tunnels.
We stayed at the Grand Hotel Oriente, right in the centre of town and right by the main shopping street (Via Toledo).
If you want to do this Underground tour (it is one of 4) then you have to meet the tour guide outside the Caffe Gambrinus . Check the website for meeting times:
Ferry to Amalfi, Scooter to Ravello and walking back down to Amalfi!
The Amalfi Coast road was closed due to clear up services after the fires so I had to get a ferry to Amalfi and a lift from a friend up to Ravello for work.
After work the plan was to do a video on the walk back down from Ravello to Amalfi but somewhere along the way I took a wrong turn and ended up in Pontone. So I walked down to Amalfi from there!

A Day in my Life - In Positano in winter when everything is closed!
Possibly one of the most boring videos I've done! (sell yourself Nicki!)
I often get asked what do people do in Positano in the winter when everything is closed?
Well, pretty much what most people do on a normal day I should think. A bit of tidying, gardening, empty the bins, hanging the washing...no wait, normal people have tumble dryers right?
A walk on the beach, make some lunch, a bit of laptop time...A couple of years ago there would have been the school run to do and all the school kid stuff, but now she's away at school I have less to do.
The next day I go for a hike but get a bit lost in the woods and end up giving up and going home!
A day in my Life in Positano - The End of Summer
The 28th October, the season is about to end and is brought to a halt with a forecast of rough seas, strong winds and heavy rain.
I've just got back from some time in the UK with my family and returned to find all the boats gone from the bay and all the sunloungers and umbrellas packed away at the beach.
Follow me around for a not particularly interesting day at the beach, the cemetery and lunch at the in-laws. This is real life in Positano, no filters, no floaty dresses!
