Welcome to beautiful Sörmland – a region filled with nature and gorgeous countryside, just outside Stockholm.
I’ve just got back from an incredible weekend break from Stockholm, visiting a region called Sörmland. Only an hour from the capital, it’s an area known for wild cooking, beautiful serene lakes, castles summerhouses and magical forests.
I’ve visited Sweden several times, but only stepped foot in the cities of Stockholm and Gothenburg. Beautiful cities though they are, I was ready to slow down the pace and head out to the countryside. My Stockholm country break would take me to Gripsholm Slott (castle), Trosa and villages close to Nyköping.

The Best 15 Cities in the World!
According to me!
I've been to 101 countries and numerous cities, and here, at last, is my top fifteen. Sorry if your city isn't included, but I had to narrow them down somehow. Some that just missed out were: Marrakech, Bangkok, Mombasa, Sarajevo and many, many more.
The song that plays throughout is a song I wrote many years ago called Wild Times. I recorded all the instruments and even sang an exceedingly poor lead vocal all myself. I apologise if this song offends anyones ears! It has never been published before!
