5 Days Around Cambodia Episode 5 of 5
The last video of the Khmer Tourist family 5 days trip around Cambodia. This video started from Cambodia National flag and a drone shot of Sre Ambel bridge along National No.48 in Koh Kong province heading to the fork road of Sre Ambel (Right to Krong Preah Sihanouk, Left to Kampong Speu province). We're on the left heading to Lok Yeay Mao Picnil and continued to Oudong district for a great lunch break there. After lunch, we continued to Kampong Chhnang province and visited the Ghost house along National Road No.5. We also stop at the great marble stone carving circle the landmark of Pursat province. We went straight to Battambang Province and stop at Lokta Dambong Kranhoung for a respect then continued to Pailin Province. We had dinner (Suki Soup) and stayed one night in Pailin. In the morning, we head off to breakfast across from Lok Yeay Yart and went to Yart mountain top to see the golden temple. After that we went to Banteay Meanchey province and took picture with Srey-Krom-Leak circle the landmark of Banteay Meanchey province. We left Banteay Meanchey to Oddar Meanchey Province and visit the ancient bridge from Angkor era called Spean Tep or Spean Torp (Magic bridge or Soldier bridge). We left Oddar Meanchey to Siem Reap Province. We visited Srey-Snam district office and had lunch at Mother Lorn Khmer Food Restaurant. It's a great place for lunch with tasty foods cooked by authentic old ladies. We enjoyed grilled chicken, fried freshwater fishes, chicken soup, steamed fermented fish and more tasty foods. We left Siem Reap Province to Kampong Thom and had chicken porridge as dinner at Damnek Resort & Restaurant. We then continued to Phnom Penh city and arrived home around 11pm of May 15, 2019. It's a really wonderful trip around Cambodia which brought us lots of souvenir and fun.

Tuk-Tuk ride (autorickshaw) around the Temples of Angkor, Siem Reap Province, Cambodia
This is a travel video capturing clips from our entire three day experience visiting the Temples of Angkor by tuk-tuk (autorickshaw) in Siem Reap Province, Cambodia. By far our preferred (and recommended) way of getting around the temples, the tuk-tuk drivers are knowledgeable about which temples to visit while helping your to conserve energy for exploration on foot. We noticed many tourists who decided to take bicycles looking awfully tanned, sweating and exhausted. The video captures many snippets of the things we witnessed on the road, such as passing other vehicles, farm fields, rural areas and small villages. Overall, we often looked forward to taking the tuk-tuk as much as we did exploring the temples, as it gave us a chance to cool off in the breeze while resting our legs.

Auto rickshaws are a common means of public transportation in many countries in the world. Also known as a three-wheeler, Samosa, tempo, tuk-tuk, trishaw, auto, rickshaw, autorick, bajaj, rick, tricycle, mototaxi, baby taxi or lapa in popular parlance, an auto rickshaw is a usually three-wheeled cabin cycle for private use and as a vehicle for hire. It is a motorized version of the traditional pulled rickshaw or cycle rickshaw. Auto rickshaws are an essential form of urban transport in many developing countries, and a form of novelty transport in many Eastern countries.
In Cambodia, the term tuk-tuk (Khmer: ទុកទុក) is used to refer to a motorcycle with a cabin attached to the rear. Cambodian cities have a much lower volume of automobile traffic than Thai cities, and tuk-tuks are still the most common form of urban transport. At the temple complex of Angkor, for example, tuk-tuks provide a convenient form of transport around the complex for tourists. One can hire a tuk-tuk and driver by the day.
Siem Reap tuk-tuks are generally of the style of motorcycle and trailer. Phnom Penh tuk-tuks are by contrast one piece. They are the front end of a motorcycle consisting of steering, tank and engine/gearbox with a covered tray mounted at the back. The power is transferred by chain to an axle mounted to the modified rear fork which drives the two rear wheels. Suspended upon the rear fork is an open cabin with an in-line seat on each side. This arrangement can carry 6 people at ease, with their luggage in the leg space. It is not unusual to see these vehicles greatly overloaded, especially in outer suburbs and around markets.
Currently, Tuk Tuk in Cambodia is being developed to be more convenient and safer. It is also becoming a popular form of transportation for Phnom Penh residents:

Samrong Canal next to Samrong Market, Samut Prakan, Thailand
Samrong Market. This is a vast market covering two area's of Samrong. The food is fresh every day, and the choice of seafood, is vast. Though not quite as cheap as Samut Prakan market, this is still a very good and relatively cheap market to do your daily or weekly shopping.
Samrong in the Province of Samut Prakan - soon to be brought into life with the opening of the Sky Train link in 2010. This will open the link farther from On Nut ( Terminal station at the moment ) to Soi Baering near Samrong. This extra link will make it so much easier to get into Bangkok. A journey that can take up to two hours at the wrong time. Even on a good day this trip into central Bangkok is a nightmare. Many different ways have been tried to cut journey times. But Taxi's or Buses face the same traffic hold-ups.
Samrong is ideally situated for shopping. With Imperial World, housing Big C supermarket, IT City Computer retailer and many smaller retailers offering all manner of goods for sale. Carrefour is a few minutes Taxi ride towards Samut Prakan. And the newly renovated Tesco - Lotus store at Srinakarin is about ten minutes in a taxi. This huge store also houses many varieties of smaller shops and restaurants much the same as Imperial World and Carrefour. Within short distance of Samrong you have many places of interest to visit. The Ancient City,or Ancient Siam as its now called, Crocodile Farm, Erawan Museum, Thai Royal Navy museum at Naval Historical Park, Fort Phra Chulachomklao.
