Ostiano is a comune in the Province of Cremona in the Italian region Lombardy, located about 90 kilometres southeast of Milan and about 20 kilometres northeast of Cremona. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 3,054 and an area of 19.4 square kilometres .Ostiano borders the following municipalities: Gabbioneta-Binanuova, Gambara, Pessina Cremonese, Pralboino, Seniga, Volongo. 3. Castello di Torrechiara Torrechiara
Torrechiara is a frazione of the comune of Langhirano, in the province of Parma, northern Italy. It is especially known for its massive castle, built by Pier Maria II de' Rossi , count of San Secondo, between 1448 and 1460. The building was thought not only as a defensive structure, but also as mansion for the count's lover, Bianca Pellegrini, for which a famous hall, the Camera d'Oro was built with decorations by Benedetto Bembo, sibling of Bonifacio Bembo. Scenes of the 1985 film Ladyhawke were shot at the castle.

Lago di Tenno is a lake at Tenno in Trentino, Italy. At an elevation of 550 m, its surface area is 2.5 km². The lake was formed around the year 1100 following a large landslide that blocked the course of the river Rì Sec, which is currently the main tributary of the lake. In the southern portion of the lake there is a small island. The level of the lake varies over the years depending on the flow rate of the tributaries. In the years when the level is low this island becomes a kind of promontory. This area is protected by the Autonomous Province of Trento as a biotope.

The diocese has a Minor Basilica, the Basilica di San Lorenzo, in Monticelli d'Ongina; it was assigned that honor on 9 January 1942.

The Rocca Sanvitale, or Sanvitale Castle, is a fortress residence in the centre of the town of Fontanellato, near Parma, northern Italy. Construction of the moated block, accessible through a drawbridge, was begun in the 13th century, mostly completed by the 15th century, with embellishments continuing through to the 18th century. It is prototypical of the urban castle-houses of the turbulent medieval communes of Northern Italy. Until the 1930s it was the home of the descendants of the Count of Sanvitale. The crenelated walls and asymmetric towers are surrounded by an arcaded town. Adjacent to the castle are gardens and a courtyard. Die Küste von Amalfi (Italien)

Eine vierzig Kilometer lange Küstenlandschaft in Süditalien, eingerahmt vom Tyrrhenischen Meer und dem Lattari Gebirge. Wild zerklüftet bietet sie kaum Platz für eine größere Ansiedlung.

Steile Felsen, enge Buchten, Terrassen mit Wein und Zitronen - eine Landschaft wie aus dem Bilderbuch. Dazwischen malerische Ortschaften mit großer Vergangenheit. Die Stadt Amalfi gab der ganzen Küstenregion den Namen. Einst entstand hier die erste Seerepublik Italiens mit mächtiger Flotte und Handelsbeziehungen nach Syrien und Nordafrika. Doch bald wurden die Konkurrenten Pisa und Genua mächtiger, die Amalfiküste geriet ins wirtschaftliche Abseits. Über Jahrhunderte lag der Küstenstrich vergessen von der Welt, abgeschnitten.

Erst der Ausbau der Amalfitana, einer Traumstraße zwischen Himmel und Meer, beendete 1857 die Isolation der Region. Die Amalfiküste wurde schnell bekannt: Maler, Dichter und Schriftsteller aus ganz Europa ließen sich in Ravello oder Positano nieder und begründeten den Ruf, von dem die Küste heute noch zehrt. Giulio Cantarella fährt seit 20 Jahren Linienbusse auf der Amalfitana. Der Film begleitet ihn auf seiner Fahrt entlang einer Küste, die noch immer Sehnsüchte weckt.
