The Black Mountains Horseshoe walk, Brecon Beacons National Park, South Wales.

One of the lesser visited mountain areas of wales, The Black Mountains, offers some great hiking. We took on the horseshoe walk around Cwm Banw after a cold snap and the hills were in full winter conditions with temperatures as low as -7. The peaks on this walk are, Pen Twyn Glas, Pen Allt-mawr, Pen Gloch-y-pilbwr and Table Mountain.
