Pocantico Hills is a hamlet in the Westchester County town of Mount Pleasant, New York, northeast of the village of Sleepy Hollow and southwest of the village of Pleasantville, in the United States. The area was originally settled by Native Americans of the Wecquaesgeek tribes; Pocantico means running between two hills, and the name is a reference to the meandering Pocantico River.     The Franklin D. Roosevelt Presidential Library and Museum holds the records of Franklin Delano Roosevelt, the 32nd President of the United States . Located on the grounds of Springwood, the Roosevelt family estate in Hyde Park, New York, the library was built under the President's personal direction in 1939-1940, and dedicated on June 30, 1941.
