Azerbaijan. Gabala recreation center
Gabala, also known as Qabala, is a city in Azerbaijan and the capital of the Qabala Rayon.
Gabala is the ancient capital of Caucasian Albania. Archeological evidence indicates that the city functioned as the capital of Caucasian Albania as early as 4th century BC. The ruins of the ancient town are situated 15 km from the regional center, allocated on the territory between Garachay and Jourluchay rivers. Gabala was located in the middle of the 2,500-year-old Silk Road, and was mentioned by Pliny the Younger as Kabalaka, Greek geographer Ptolemy as Khabala, Arabic historian Ahmad ibn Yahya al-Baladhuri as Khazar. In the 19th century, the Azerbaijani historian Abbasgulu Bakikhanov mentioned in his book Gulistani Irem that Kbala or Khabala were in fact Gabala.
In the 60s BC, Roman troops attacked Caucasian Albania, but did not succeed in capturing the Qabala territory. In 262 AD, Caucasian Albania was occupied by the Sassanid Empire, but preserved its political and economic status. In 464, it lost its independence due to years of invasions from the northern nomadic tribes and had to move its capital city to Partava (currently Barda in Azerbaijan).
On the outskirts of the city of Gabala is a zone of rest Ai Ishigami. Excursion and travel service Chalets organizes recreation in the forest, excursions, hunting and fishing. The recreation area Sahil is located on the shores of Lake Nohur, 5 km from the highway Gabala - Baku (area - 1.5 hectares). Tourists can make trips to the waterfalls, through the forest, to the historical monuments.
Perfect Weekend Away from Dubai | Qabala | امتع عطلة قصيرة بعيداً عن دبي
Qabala is the perfect compliment to Baku on a short 4-5 day trip; it is the extreme nature that you would want after a couple of days in the modern Baku city. Having said that, flydubai also has direct flights to Qabala this summer, so you could do a 7-10 day trip all in onw place. I assure you that you will have an amazing time there and you won't run out of things to do, specially if you stay at the Qafqaz Riverside Hotel. To me this was a great place to unwind in the middle of beautiful nature. I really didn't want to do much else. Great time and definitely going back, but taking my entire family with me next time.

Qabala - Azerbaijan
Dear, Friends !
In my previous videos, i talked about my trip in Baku, the capital city of Azerbaijan. And in this
video i wolud like to talk about my trip out of Baku. In the begining of this year we went to Qabala.
It is one of Region in Azerbaijan, located about 220 km from Baku.
We could reach Qabala in many ways such as, by private car, bus, or Taxi. But I prefer using Taxi to
using Bus. Using Taxi is more comfortable, the cost is about 14 Azn for each person.
But we also can join to tour program that is arranged by local travel agent. The travel agent will
provide all needs such as accomodation, meal, and hotel.
In my trips, we only visited a no tourist destination. But we visit my friend familly who are living in
a village.
yea, I and my wife would rather visit a natural landscape than visit a modern or constructed view. We
like river, trees, water and fresh air to mall, supermarket or other modern life style.
In this video i show you how interesting village view is.
In Qabala, there is also a famous SKI area, which is also known as Kanat. It's like a cable car which
is transfering people from the down to the top and as taking back to the down.
