Greetings, salutations and welcome to the show, in this months exciting extravaganza we will be taking a look at biking here in Dongguan. Where to buy bikes, where to ride, and importantly, how to stay safe.
Biking is by far the biggest and most popular activity right now, its healthy, clean and its transport and if you know anything about me, then you know that's it's a big part of my life.
Here in Dongguan there are bikes shops for every kind of taste and budget. You needn't spend a fortune to be able to enjoy a 2 wheeled freedom machine, BUT remember if you get something half descent it will last much longer.
As there are so many bike shops in Dongguan now, Ive have chosen to show you 3 that combined can cater for every need.
We have our show sponsor and technical gurus, The Fuji shop. For a good selection of all round bikes in Dongcheng, there's Ibike. And then in Nan cheng, again for across the board bikes, we have Good Bikes. Between these 3 they cover pretty much anything you could ever want bike wize.
One of the first things you will need to think about before buying a bike is what style you want. Be it a road bike or mountain bike. Most people here in Dongguan do tend to go for a mountain bike as it will do everything, Where as a road bike with its thin wheels is more limited. But this is the same everywhere so that choice is up to you.
